Brent R. Grover, Managing Partner
Brent Grover founded Evergreen Consulting in 2001 as a boutique firm to advise companies in the wholesale distribution channel. He had been CEO and co-owner of National Paper & Packaging Co. Brent is also an Adjunct Professor at Case Weatherhead School of Management. Prior to his distribution industry career he was with Arthur Andersen & Co. Brent won the Elijah Watt Sells Medal and Ohio honors for his performance on the Uniform CPA Examination. Brent is a member of several non-profit boards and is Past Chairman of the National Paper Trade Association. He currently serves as a board member of B.W. Rogers Co., Petroliance LLC, Millcraft Group, Famous Enterprises, Snavely Forest Products and Elkay Plastics. Brent is a member of the Cleveland Racquet Club, Mayfield Sand Ridge Country Club and the Union Club.
Ken Brown, Partner
Ken joined Evergreen Consulting from SupplyOne Company where he was the President of SupplyOne Retail. Ken led the growth and expansion of the retail business implementing logistics and supply chain management programs for large multiple location retailers nationwide. He previously held the position as President, SupplyOne, Cleveland and prior to that as President, National Paper & Packaging, Cleveland. Before joining National Paper as an account executive in 1985, Ken was the Midwest regional sales and marketing manager for the Crowell Corporation of Newport, DE. Ken has served on numerous advisory councils including 3M, National Paper Trade Association, Afflink, and the Building Owners and Managers Association.
Emily Martin, Consultant
Emily Martin joined Evergreen Consulting in 2005. She had been Director of SupplyOne Retail, a major division of a $300 million distributor, overseeing sales, purchasing and implementation of consolidated expense programs for national retail chains. Emily previously was Director of Human Resources at National Paper & Packaging Company (now SupplyOne). Prior to starting her career in distribution in 1997 she was Director of Human Resources at the American Red Cross Greater Cleveland Chapter. Emily also spent 10 years at Progressive Corporation as a divisional Human Resources Manager and as Manager of Employee Benefits and Compensation.
Jane has worked in the distribution industry her entire career. She began her career with a distribution software reseller and held several roles over the next six years; programmer, technical support analyst, and implementation specialist. After meeting these challenges, Jane moved to the end user side of software and was an IT Manager for a $150 million distributor. During this five year period, Jane also obtained her MBA from Case Western’s Weatherhead School of Management, adding to her Computer Science degree. She joined Evergreen in 2008 to fulfill the IT requirements for Evergreen’s Strategic Pricing initiative. Jane is a unique IT professional in that she has been on both sides of the software experience and has both technical and business knowledge.
Candace Rose Grover, Firm Administrator
Candy holds a Bachelor's degree in speech and hearing from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in education from Case Western Reserve University. She has years of experience as a special education teacher specializing in students with autism. Candy is an advocate for students with no legal guardian and is also a sign language interpreter.
